Benefits of Chiropractic Care

Chiropractors provide natural, drugless, non-surgical health treatments and rely on the body’s inherent recuperative abilities. Many people are under the misconception that a chiropractic doctor is limited to providing back pain relief orneck pain relief. While most Denver chiropractors focus on neck pain treatment and back pain treatment, Denver Spine and Posture Center focuses on treatment of the whole body. We take a hands-on approach to your health by adjusting the imbalances in the skeletal system, particularly the spine. Chiropractic care is a noninvasive discipline that sees the body as a system of parts that work together in balance.

Advanced BioStructural CorrectionTM

Denver Spine and Posture Centers are Advanced BioStructural CorrectionTM practitioners. Advanced BioStructural Correction (ABCTM) is a huge advance in the natural and nonsurgical correction of the human body structure. ABCTM is the only method of body treatment that results in your body staying upright all by itself with no effort because it is the only method of body treatment that actually corrects your structure. Dr. Jones is serious about helping people using the newest and most effective approach in rapid pain relief and postural correction. He has achieved Advanced Certification in ABCTM including certification in Endo Nasal Technique and will soon be Colorado’s first ABCTM instructor.

What is an ABCTM Approach to Chiropractic Care?

ABCTM is founded on the principle that poor posture, caused by anterior displacement of vertebrae, causes compensatory misalignments that predispose the spinal cord to injury from excessive stretching of the meninges (the membrane that surrounds the brain and spinal cord). Vertebrae get displaced forward and get stuck because there is no muscle to pull them back causing other vertebrae compensate for this by twisting. tilting or any other motion that brings balence. Most pain does indeed come from these compensations being held in place. This is the major problem in the human body and is relieved by a process that helps unlock the meninges and corrects the bones the body can’t fix which in turn allows the body to release the pain causing compensations.

Advanced BioStructural CorrectionTM is exactly that, an advance in the ability of any doctor or person to correct life structures. Advanced BioStructural CorrectionTM can stand behind the claim of consistent and predictable change in structure with treatment. You WILL see this with your very first treatment, we guarantee it! ABCTM consistently works with old people, young people and those in between.

How Is ABCTM Different From Chiropractic Care?

The body is an amazing, self-healing organism. Practitioners of the ABCTM method work with the body’s inherent healing systems to provide natural results. The main difference between the Advanced Biostructural Correction and traditional chiropractic is the direction in which we adjust the bones.

Traditional chiropractic dictates that if there is any interference in how the nervous system is working, the body loses its ability to heal and self-regulate. These interferences, called subluxations, are what traditional chiropractors seek to remove.

During ABCTM adjustments, we do not adjust things that your spine or body can already fix on its own. Fixing those misalignments actually dislodges compensations that your skeleton needs.

With ABCTM, only the layer of problems that a patient presents with that day are removed. It’s a very different, comprehensive adjustment technique that addresses the ribs, spine, legs, hips, feet and the covering of the spinal cord, the meninges.

What to Expect

Like other health practitioners, chiropractors follow a standard routine to secure the information we need for diagnosis and treatment. On your first visit, we’ll take your medical history, conduct physical, neurological, and orthopedic examinations, and may order laboratory tests. We have found that X-rays and other diagnostics are important tools because of our emphasis on the spine and its proper function.

We also conduct a postural and spinal analysis because vertebral dysfunction may alter many important body functions by affecting the nervous system and causing a skeletal imbalance, which can cause pain or lower resistance to disease.

The Chiropractic Doctors of Denver Spine and Posture Center are experts at locating bones out of place in a position that the body cannot self correct.  The key is correcting ONLY what the body cannot self correct and allowing the body to self-correct the rest.

The spine and the nerves that connect to it are part of an incredibly complex systems that require years of study to understand. While all doctors receive basic training on the health and care of the musculoskeletal system, they simply aren’t educated on all of the conditions that afflict it and their proper treatments. Surgery or long term use of narcotic pain medications are usually the only two options offered to patients with disorders like sciatica, compressed discs, or chronic pain with no apparent cause. Doctors of chiropractic care specifically focus on the health of the spine and nerves alone. If you’ve sought help from other doctors and received sparse testing or a general lack of interest in your care, visiting our clinic in Denver could change your life.

What Is A Chiropractic Adjustment?

The practice of chiropractic care is based around the concept that a healthy spine follows a normal alignment. When the spine becomes misaligned, discs and the nerves around them are easily compressed. Restoring natural alignment often relieves the pain and other symptoms that resisted more conventional treatments. The chiropractor applies a small amount of focused pressure to move vertebrae and to loosen joints that have become frozen in an incorrect position. Once the spine is aligned, it’s easier to access damaged nerves or relieve muscle tension that are also contributing to your discomfort.

What Can Chiropractic Adjustment Do For Me?

If you are struggling with chronic pain, neuropathy symptoms like numbness, or low back pain, the issue most likely stems from compensations the body must hold onto because of the bones in positions the body cannot self correct.A series of adjustments at Denver Spine and Posture Center using our ABCTM approach will restore proper alignment, improve your postu
relieve any number of related symptoms, and restore greater flexibility and range of motion. Many issues that affect the limbs originate in the spine, and therefore respond well to adjustment.

Regarding “Emotional Releases” from manipulative techniques

What people call the “emotional releases” are almost always something that makes them worse physically. Investigation shows that is because something was treated that should not have been — a compensation of some sort.

This is not a small thing and it is not Dr. Jutkowitz(the founder of ABC) trying to make others wrong.
  • Bones out of place that the body CANNOT self-correct because it has no muscles or combinations of muscles that can pull in the direction needed to correct the bone position.
  • Bones out of place that the body CAN self-correct — because it does have muscles that can pull in the direction needed to pull them into their correct positions — but does not.

Treat ONLY the bones out of place that the body cannot self-correct because it has no muscle or combination of muscles pulling in the direction(s) needed to correctly reposition the bone(s).  (ONly ABC™ has this as its basis.)

Then this VERY important factor,  ANY, actually EVERY, bone out of place that the body CAN self-correct but does not is left out of place in that way by the body as part of the compensation pattern.

THEY NEED TO BE OUT OF PLACE IN THAT WAY (those ways) to compensate for the bones out of place that the body CANNOT SELF-CORRECT.    Moving those compensations, either to what would be their correct position if nothing else was out of place or to any other position, decompensates the body structure.  There are basically two results of this:
  • Either the body just shifts the bone moved back to the original compensation position
    — This is the how and why explanation of every adjustment or other manipulation that “does not hold.” Or, why that “thing I have”  keeps coming back.
  • Or, the body cannot (for whatever reason) reposition the compensation. In these cases the bones out of place that the body CANNOT self-correct get worse in some way or direction. Therefore the now mechanically worse body must create a new compensation pattern for the bones out of place that it cannot self-correct. Besides the bones out of place that the body cannot self-correct going to a worse position because of the removal of the compensation, the body now has to create a new compensation pattern for the now worse body. That new compensation pattern is almost always worse than what the person had before.about that —  Worse than what they had before does not necessarily mean more pain.  It can mean less pain if the new compensation pattern changes the location of the mechanical stress on the body. In those cases, that what was being twisted, bent or just under pressure before no longer has the twist, bend or just pressure.  However, that will mean the twist, bend or pressure is somewhere else or in more than one somewhere else.  Typically you will note they do not breathe as well and other problems distal to the compensation treated.
This is the how and why explanation of why chiros typically get worse and worse and more bent as they get older despite what they are getting for adjustments.  If chiropractic worked half as well as many chiros think it does every older chiro would be healthy as heck — they are not. Many sell their practices because their bodies cannot take it any longer.

It is also the explanation of why people get as a result good, nothing and worse bodies. It is why many hear from others three things about chiros:  Wow they are great,  I went and it did not do anything and, that guy almost killed me (made them worse in some way).
